Depending how the torque is applied can cause the clutch to slip or not to slip. And remember, your clutch is rated and operates off torque from the crankshaft. I would first confirm no leaks on your gauge install, then test to confirm your clutch slipping or not. All it does is provide a reference line to the fpr so it can increase fuel pressure accordingly as the boost pressure increases, supplied directly from the source being the intake manifold. The fpr line is nothing but a reference line for a rising rate fueling system.
